And all of them seem better than Trump, though I’ll be pretty annoyed if I have to vote for Cuomo.

It isn’t really just voting against him, it’s potentially voting for someone even worse.

The Ds are well known for putting up garbage candidates, perhaps even worse than the Rs. The Ds are, ironically, the least democratic of those two parties, too.

I voted for Bernie in the primary and I still hate those D  pieces of shit.

The Ds are the least d emocratic p arty in this country and also the most corrupt when it comes to   “pay to play”. They’d gladly accept the Russians they’re now demonizing with open arms if they wrote a big enough check.

They’re the scummiest of the major parties, even below the Rs, which is a challenging thing to do.

ooh... just my opinion, but that hasn’t been that case in my personal experience in the past 30 years or so. Which honestly is too bad - we had a strong history of moderate Rs out here doing really good things (including stuff even left of what the current D party is,) and keeping their fingers out of the cookie jar but the 80's and 90's changed much of that so they can largely only attract folks looking to make a buck or worse. A moderate R party really could be a good check against pie in the sky thinking which I admit Ds have a tendency to do, but that just is not the case currently...

I’ll respectfully disagree—45 is the worst presidential candidate I’m aware of in my lifetime, made more clear by each day he’s actually in power. Also, the fact that the GOP has embraced catering to his base of deplorables and followed suit with echoing Trump’s cries of “fake news,” xenophobia, bigotry, hatred, etc. ( and abandoned any role as a check-and-balance on the presidency), every last one of those enablers can go to hell.

I agree that the Dems primary system and their favoritism to centerist, establishment candidates is problematic, but the right’s responsible for Trump being in power now--that is several orders of magnitude more horrifying, in my mind.
